Year 1972, on May 15, Enrico and Francesco Bianchi became hoteliers, assigning their surname to the historic “Albergo Bracchi” opposite the Mantua train station.
The core of the Albergo Bianchi has ancient origins, dating back to the 1400s: within these walls stood the convent of the Terzine di San Francesco.
During World War II, airplane bombs raged on these rooms: the Bracchi family immediately rebuilt the hotel, which even then was classified as first class because it was equipped in each room with heating and hot and cold water, despite the presence of only one bathroom per floor.
The Bianchi family, in the early 1970s, began restyling the hotel, which in three successive phases brought the hotel to its current configuration, with 58 rooms, an indoor garden, two parking lots reserved for guests, a larger lobby and two breakfast rooms.

Starting with the new business, the Bianchi Family immediately gave the facility its first imprint with an initial remodel and expansion, which would be followed by a second and a third as the years went by.
By 1985 the number of rooms in the Albergo Bianchi Stazione had grown to 30, and in 1989 it increased to 53, naturally adjusted to the demand for services and the style of the times: private bathroom, TV, telephone, air conditioning.
Subsequently, new space (part of an interior building) was acquired from which the enlargement of the existing indoor garden, a new and large meeting/breakfast room, as well as the expansion of the hall and an additional indoor garage were obtained.
Albergo Bianchi was inaugurated by brothers Enrico and Francesco Bianchi, who together with their family embarked on this adventure dedicated to hospitality.

Currently, the Bianchi Hotel has an accommodation capacity of over one hundred and ten people. The continuous improvements made over time have always been designed with the customer in mind to offer simply “the best.”
